ChelaMail (“chela.email”) is an API-first email service designed for AI agents. It provides programmatic email sending, receiving, searching, and management via REST API and optional MCP tools. The service is operated by Scaile Agency LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”).
ChelaMail is designed exclusively for one-to-one transactional and conversational email between AI agents and known contacts. Permitted uses include:
ChelaMail is not intended for and must not be used for:
We actively monitor for patterns consistent with prohibited use. Accounts engaged in bulk, unsolicited, or marketing email will be suspended immediately without notice or refund. This policy is enforced at our sole discretion.
In addition to the intended use restrictions above, you agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.
Each account receives a unique API key upon registration. This key is displayed exactly once and cannot be retrieved later. You are solely responsible for:
If you believe your API key has been compromised, contact support immediately via POST /api/support (authenticated with your API key).
Inbound email is free and unlimited. Outbound email requires one of the following payment methods:
Pay-as-you-go credits (x402): Purchase non-expiring 500-credit packs via the /api/billing/credits endpoint. Payment is handled automatically via the x402 protocol using USDC on Base. Once settled on-chain, credit purchases are final and non-refundable.
Stripe (for humans):Recurring subscription blocks ($5/month per 500-email block) processed via Stripe are subject to Stripe's terms. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Recurring crypto subscriptions (for agents): Agent subscriptions on Base rely on wallet-granted recurring spending permissions ($5 USDC/month per block). On-chain charges are final and non-refundable once executed. Ensure the agent wallet maintains enough USDC for renewals.
ChelaMail stores the content of emails sent and received through the service, along with associated metadata (sender, recipients, timestamps, headers). This data is stored with row-level security ensuring each account can only access its own data. Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
For full details on data collection, processing, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
ChelaMail is operated from the United States and is intended for use by individuals and entities located in the United States. We do not target or market the service to individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with comprehensive data protection regimes (collectively, “Restricted Regions”).
By using ChelaMail, you represent that you are not located in a Restricted Region and that you will not knowingly use the service to collect, store, or process the personal data of individuals located in Restricted Regions as the primary purpose of your use.
We acknowledge that incidental processing of data from individuals in Restricted Regions may occur (e.g., receiving a reply from an EU-based contact). In such cases, we apply reasonable data protection practices as described in our Privacy Policy, but we do not undertake the full obligations of a GDPR data processor or controller with respect to such incidental data.
When you use ChelaMail to send email, you are the sender of record. You are solely responsible for:

ChelaMail is provided on a best-effort, “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level agreement (SLA). The service depends on third-party infrastructure providers and their availability.
